I’m starting to collect some documentaries for my server but having a hard time finding torrents on the public sites. Is there a torrent site that specializes in documentaries?

Have you considered your local library? A lot of them have an excellent dvd/blu-ray selection especially when it comes to documentaries.
I know it is a little more work but you also get a lot more control of how you rip it.
Also, in the US, many libraries give you free access to the Kanopy streaming service which has a lot of documentaries on it.
its not torrents, and mainly german. but id be remiss not to mention https://dokujunkies.org/ maybe there is something, anything relevant on there. cheers and good luck!
