The Dynavap m7xl Rosium. I don’t think you even have to know what a dynavap is or what its used for to appreciate its aesthetic appeal.
Its the most beautiful metal stick ive ever had the pleasure of holding. The way it changes color as it reflects light is so cool. You can just spin it around and fidget with the cap while watching the colors. I am considering get in a spinning base to put it on so I can watch it rotate automatically

Dusk - the OG boomer shooter revival game, should be the first game to try to see if you like these kinds of fps.
Amid evil - beautiful looking FPS instead of firing guns you fire unique magical weapons.
Ultrakill - extremely difficult movement shooter with a very interesting setting and lore. Its still not fully complete theres like a final layer thats still cooking but what’s there is worth experiencing.
Selaco - FEAR inspired FPS built in GZDoom somehow. Tight movement, great gunplay, interesting enemy difficulty progression, superior AI that will flank your ass and hammer you with what feels like tactical actions, great interactive environments.
Turbo ultrakill- one of the most fun and bombastic FPS ive ever played. Play as a merc who gets turned into a living chainsaw as you ruin the plans of wannabe trancendent techno gods and run away super AI one bullet at a time
Cultic - plays heavy into blood and residents evil 4 inspirations to deliver a very mood atmospheric FPS with the best goddamn dynamite throwing mechanics since OG Blood itself. The single dev is really passionate and is constantly sharing updates to episode 2.
Ion Fury + ion fury aftershock A love letter to the best parts of build engine games of the 90s. Its incredibly well made build engine game with huge sprawling enviroments and too many secrets. The pistol with auto-lockon is hands down the best pistol Ive every used in any game. Aftershock DLC is even better than the base game.
Zortch - another passion project made by one person with an in-house engine coded just for the game. The enemy AI moves around a lot and the cartoony graphics and plot make it more of a light hearted title to have fun with like a game you would find on the N64. Its only 5$ and easily worth it.
Installing a soft starter to smooth out the huge momentary rush in power the compressor motor experiences as it starts up. Thats by far the most impactful thing you can do to increase fridge lifespan to the point fridge manufacturers factor it in rush current in planned obsolescence calculations.
The problem is that soft starter kits are expensive and you need to be competent enough with electricity to wire it in.

The offgrid renewables crowd with smaller battery supply who can just barely afford to put out enough wattage to run a fridge or AC are the ones who benefit most from soft starting. Then there are the nerds who like watching graphs that get off on maximizing system efficency and lifespan of their appliances.
The users of that fourm often go into technicals that I myself am unfamiliar with. Differences between motors and compressors of different phase and voltages. Its interesting to see how some people think about things.
I recommend just going through some different fourm post there related and read through what people say and what their situation and reasonings are if you want to learn more.

Its one of those really niche electrically technical things that not many people have the schooling to to fully understand the theory of. The few people that have a genuine good reason to go out of their way to do it have different understanding and implementations.
I don’t mind answering questions if you wanted clarification as to how it works on a conceptual level.
