I updated macOS to *checks about screen* Sequoia last night... well… what fresh fuck is this?! Can we get a „I know what I'm doing“ switch? What should somebody without computer knowledge do with this information?! What should *I* do with it?! Why would it interest me?! #vista #becomingwindows (EDIT: they're not even grouped so that I could dismiss them all together 😩)
It’s a hassle. You need to open it using… option? Command? Control? I honestly don’t know and instantly forget… And then MANUALLY go into SystemSettings - security, scroll all the way to the bottom, click where it says “this file is not secure”, click to run it anyway and accept it with your Password/Finger/Face…
I like Apple products because I have to deal with PC crap at work a lot of the time and I want my phone to work without ever having to spend any time at all on it.

Just wait until you want to install a kernel extension.
Still, it keeps people like my parents from getting malware easily so it’s not all bad and I can bypass it for my needs.
That’s literally the only reason I got them Apple products.
